Three Things

I had a choice tonight. Blog about my ONE BOOK or about my THREE THINGS. Since I learned from my friend Kristi about our 4 degrees of separation, I'll start with the Three Things.

Three things that scare me: Monsters in the basement. Getting buried alive. Bad drivers.

Three people that make me laugh: Brian Regan. The cast of The Office. Kids age 4 and under.

Three things I love: Big J. Roo. Ason.

Three things I hate: That people care about Tomkat's wedding. Shopping for jeans. Scary movies.

Three things I don't understand: Work dinners. Wireless anything. The directions on the instant pudding package - well I guess now that I know to put milk in instead of water, I get it.

Three things on my desk: A BIG calendar to organize my life. Paperwork for the house. A VENUS catalog.

Three things I am doing right now: Watching Polar Express on TV. Thinking about my siblings and all the big issues going on in their lives right now. Anxiously waiting for Big J to get home.

Three things I want to do before I die: See my children grow up happy. Learn to drink and enjoy a glass of wine. Spend lots of time with my husband in retirement.

Three things I can do: French Braid my hair. Change a very dirty diaper of a child who wants nothing to do with getting their diaper changed. Teach a child to read.

Three things I can't do: Follow recipe directions the first time. Keep my white carpets clean. Negotiate a deal.

Three things you should listen to: Your gut. Your girlfriends. God.

Three things you shouldn't listen to: Drunk people. Loud music. Someone who isn't an expert on a topic, but gives advice on it anyway.

Three things I would like to learn: I have learned these, but would like to learn them better - Speak fluent Spanish. Play the Piano. Speed Reading. - Of course I am not working on learning of these things currently.

Three favorite foods: Homemade Chex Mix. Potato Chips. Peanut Butter M&M's.

Three beverages I drink regularly: Coke. Ice Water. Coffee.

Three shows I watched as a kid: Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Seasame Street. Electric Company.
